I was born on June 26, 1968, in Tbilisi, Georgia. My mother was a poet and my father a sculptor. I have been drawing and painting since childhood.
In 1985, I graduated from Secondary School No. 55 and, in the same year, enrolled in the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Painting. During my third year, I transferred to the Theatre Painting Department. I graduated with honors in 1991.
Between 1999 and 2000, I designed two theatre productions at the Theatre Basement (Teatraluri Sardafi): Balzaminov’s Marriage and Goodnight Mother, both directed by Nino Lipartiani.
In 2005, I joined Rustavi 2 TV, where I worked as the production designer for Night Show with Davit Gogichaishvili and Saturday Show.
From 2007, I became the chief production designer of the television series Middle of the City (Shua Kalakshi) on Imedi TV.
In 2011, I returned to Rustavi 2 as the chief production designer for the television series Cherry Street (Alublebis Kucha).
In 2013, I worked on Imedi TV as the production designer for the sketch show Once Upon a Time in Georgia. In the same year, I became the chief production designer for Middle of the City: 10 Years Later, produced by Night Show Studio.
In 2017, together with Night Show Studio, I served as the designer of Tbilisi’s Central Christmas Tree and the New Year Village at Republic Square.
From 2019 to 2024, I worked as the chief production designer of PosTV.
On June 6, 2026, my solo exhibition, The Color of Return, opened at Red Square Gallery.
